In 2019, in a project of Therapeutic Photography Workshops for people with cancer experience, we asked our participants to hold hands with the person that has supported them and picture it.
Touch was an exercise of awareness and gratitude that enabled many people to express thoughts and feelings that may have never been expressed before. Relatives, partners, friends, therapists shared the surprise, the happiness and mutual gratitude that this experience caused.
The “touch” was presented as a collaborative project in the Eyes of Light exhibition, “Focus on life”, in Technopolis. The project was a huge success and visitors felt that despite all the difficulties, you will never walk alone!
